Like every year our foundation gets brand new book bags for the children in our community that don’t have one and this year was no difference we get a crew together to help me fill them up and I’ve blessed with a wonderful group of family and friends that are always ready to give a helping hand this year was no difference here is the purchases and the crew to help

Helping a Foster Family We started with a child by the name of Lamari Badger that was chosen by Amelia Earhart Elementary to give him the gift of taking him for an eye exam and purchasing for him a new pair of glasses since he had broken and didn’t have any to start the school year,

Found out that the aunt Danielle Badger was given a town home through Section 8 for the  5 of them in Miami Gardens we posted on Facebook that we needed to get their house furnished and that same week we received donations from all over starting in Hialeah, Palm Springs North and all the way from Cutler Bay God is good we got a crew together to get items to their home. I want to thank my husband and my son for always helping me and my cousin Juan who is also a foster parent and is in the process of adopting his two little ones.

Immediately Betsy Narvaez a Para professional from Amelia Earhart called and donated a brand new bedroom set for their aunt Danielle Badger

This year at school they asked Lamari what he wanted to do when he grows up and when his teacher went around the class reading the report he had to take a picture of his work, stating that he will open a business called Lamari Helping People because what we had done for him and his family.

It only takes one gesture of love to make someone realize how special they are. May God bless Lamari his Brother and sister and his aunt for taking on this huge responsibility to help raise 3 children that need her  so much.

  Our foundation children in action/Niños En Accion is proud to help all those in need In Our community. this time we had the privilege to help a foster family who is blessing two precious angels of God to find a better life full of love by two parents who will love them and accept them and blessed to see them grow. At the 5th Annual Philantroguia Recognition Awards celebration and concert as one of the nominees through our foundation Niños En Accion giving back to the community thank you Lord for the opportunity to continue working for you.

Also this year the LABA organization introduced me to their members and recognized me for the job that we are doing for the less fortunate children in our community and abroad. I was honored and humble to receive this recognition. Thank you to the LABA organization for that beautiful award.

This years Mission Trip was even more special than ever, we had the blessing to have with us the Honorable Eddy Gonzalez and his wife Barbie travel with us and see first hand what for so many years he has supported by contributing and helping us get the needed funds to make the dreams come true for the children in this country from this beautiful building that serves for so many of their needs and activities to the food they serve them, the toys, clothing, shoes, and many more items that we send them by container.

Toy Distribution

A dream come true for 150 children from local Elementary Schools. We selected a group of kids from 20 different elementary schools to receive a gift from Santa and a fun filled day at Hialeah Park with our very own Bobby Williams from The Hialeah Fire Fighter Benevolent Association who came out and had the children become real fire fighters wearing their uniforms. The principal’s and Community Involvement Specialist came out and joined us had a great time seeing their student received the gifts plus participated in the drawing for the families to received $100.00 gift cards from Walmart and Publix. I want to thank our Councilwoman Vivian Casals-Munoz for her help getting the toys and getting a group together to wrap the toys for the day, Also The Honorable Eddy Gonzalez and State Representative Manny Diaz Jr. for their donation towards the toys and Walmart gift cards.

This special Man Rev. Evelio A. Valdes is the Founder of our organization his caring heart got this foundation on its feet 19 years ago.

These toys will get deliver at the beginning of the year to those students who couldn’t make it due to transportation.

We loaded and shipped a 20ft container to the Dominican Republic full of toys for Christmas, clothes, shoes, stuffed animals, computer, medical supplies, Chairs for the children activities and many other needed items that they don’t have.

This year our foundation was able to give 80 families the blessing of food baskets full of food, goodies for the children & a turkey. Their is nothing better then to be thankful for everything we have but most of all to share with those that need it the most.

Our foundation strives to help one family at time and we do this by having our local school choose the children that need it most and we personally deliver it to them.

I thank the team that’s always there helping me out My Mom Aida Gonzalez, Husband Rolando Prieto, My brother The Honorable Eddy Gonzalez, my Son Roly Prieto and my friend Dunieska Gallardo for their help everytime we need it. This organization is blessed to work together and make a difference in our community.
